About our dance family
~three generations~
Rosie Clark School of Ballet & Tap has been established for thirty years in the Riverland after previously moving from Adelaide. There Rosemary Clark opened the Hope Valley School of Ballet and Tap which ran successfully for 19 years.
Our studios are fitted with both fully equipped sprung timber floors and also the more modern dancefloor. Full length mirrors, ballet barres and air conditioning to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our students. We are also fortunate enough to educate our students with a syllabus that is recognized around the world. We are currently teaching I.S.T.D , (R.A.D), C.I.C.B, C.S.T.D, A.T.O.D, Al Gilbert and Glenn Wood tap. Teaching a variety of education syllabus is an integral part of being a reputable dance school.
Rosie Clark School of Ballet and Tap is renown for our voluntary outside performances. In past years we have entertained at over 36 Riverland fundraisers in just one year! Our school and our students love to continue this tradition and always enjoy performing in each Riverland town. We also perform at interstate functions and have also performed at the Vietnam Veterans Day and the Royal Academy of Dance 80th Gala in Adelaide.
We love what we do at Rosie Clark Dance Studio's and take great satisfaction from seeing each student develop their confidence, dancing and friendships. While instilling the discipline of dance, we teach students to act appropriately, present themselves correctly and speak suitably all while having fun! All students attending our school will learn essential roles for day to day life experiences. Our school motto is "we teach more than dance" as we are not just a fun dance studio, we care about your children and have witnessed and encourage many lasting friendships made over the years.
