Meet our teachers

Principal

​Natalie WOOLSTON ARAD, RAD RTS, AAC1- Dance teacher for 20 years. Studied at Royal Academy of Dance– London. Adelaide Centre for the Arts (Bachelor of creative arts– dance), performed with and learnt at many dance companies in South Australia and interstate.     Adelaide and interstate travel continue for personal development and attending annual workshops and educational forums. Natalie has currently completed studying her RAD CBTS  with the “Royal Academy of Dance” in London and received extremely high marks, and even more recently her Acrobatic Arts certification.  A current IADMS member, R.A.D, C.S.T.D, A.T.O.D and Glenn Wood member plus a member for the Dance Teacher Network and Friends of the Australian Ballet SA. Natalie is also very proud to announce she now is a register teacher with the RAD and furthermore has recently become a member for the South Australian Advisory Panel.

Enabling our teachers to keep up to date, we ask all our teachers to complete CPD continued professional development each year. From this you can be sure our teachers are not falling behind in dance education and always providing the best they can to our wonderful students and families.

Miss Kate- Kate began dancing with Miss Rosie when the school first opened in the Riverland in 1992. Since then she has  a been constantly involved with the dance family and has taught for Miss Rosie for many years. Miss Kate has trained in many areas of dance with tap and jazz being her speciality. Kate is extremely excited to rejoin our faculty after having her beautiful baby girls, Evelyn and Elyse.

Miss Rachelle- Started with Rosie Clark Dance School at the age of three with enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards learning dance. Over the years of training dance she has learnt that there is always room for improvement; this Rachelle encourages through her current dance teaching and personal weekly classes. Through this Rachelle has discovered that teaching dance is a strong passion and she is excited to share her experiences to the students at our school. ​

Miss Claudia- Meet our "Princess Fairyfloss" teacher for the tiny tots and a Rosie Clark student of 16 years. Miss Claudia's passion for children and creativity are shown throughout her fun classes. Using her child studies certification she creates enjoyable, imaginative and exciting class for all she teaches. Miss Claudia is currently studying her Certificate 3 in Dance Teaching and also has her:

. Responding to abuse and neglect certificate
. Suicide intervention course certificate

CLAUDIA SHEARER, has recently completed a highly intensive dance schooling course through the Australian College of Dance.  We are super proud of Claudia learning extra benefits for herself and to enhance our dance family and our wonderful students. Well done Claudia!

Rebecca Cook- "Sapphire Rose" is our fantastic adult belly dance teacher! She creates an easy and exciting approach to belly dancing with a positive and regenerating energy to classes. Sapphire Rose loves teaching her classes at Rosie Clark Dance and we love having her apart of our team. The class can be taken via personal choice as a low impact or high energy class. No experience is needed. Weekly attendance is welcome. 
Miss Krystal- Miss Krystal has been with our dance family from the beginning in 1992. Once Rosie Clark dance moved to this region Krystal was one of the very first to learn from Miss Rosie. Krystal's ongoing support and commitment to our dancing family has grown from her child hood to now her own children's. Miss Krystal's delicate and calming nature is a lovely asset to our faculty. 

Assistant Teachers

We also offer an opportunity for intermediate to senior students to learn the basics of dance teaching. This is a great opportunity for students to develop further and become creative and confident through demonstration and progression in weekly classes. ​

Volunteer Teachers

We are fortunate to have some lovely teachers who volunteer their time to teach at our dance school. These teachers range from acting, drama, singing and much much more! We are very lucky to have such wonderful people involved with our dance family. 

Guest Teachers

We provide a convenient service for dancers to advance their knowledge through a variety of workshops. These are held throughout the year at our studios, with a large variety of qualified and experienced dance teachers to suit all styles. Artists include: Jesse Rasmussen, Joel Rasmussen, Stephen Tannos, Sam Malseed, Martine Quigley and many more! ​

Physiotherapist and Pre-Pointe assessments

​Amanda Buhlman- B Physio UniSA
Amanda is a Physiotherapist and past Rosie Clark Dance Studio student of 8 years. She began dancing at age 3 in the Adelaide hills and joined the Rosie Clark family at age 10 after moving to the Riverland. She has 15 years dance experience in total across a wide range of genres.
 
She carried her love for dance with her throughout her University Degree and has re-joined us to conduct Pre-Pointe assessments and run workshops.
She is currently consulting at Shift Physiotherapy in the Adelaide Hills town of Stirling and makes the journey to our Studio approximately once per term.
 
Amanda has undertaken further study in Dance Physiotherapy and is always updating her skills to help improve your outcomes.
